What housing navigation is
Housing navigation is professional help organizing a housing search or housing transition. Most people who contact us are not short on information. They have a list of websites and phone numbers and still do not know what to do first.
A housing navigator helps you sort out the situation: what you need, what you can afford, what is standing in the way, which documents you will be asked for, and which public or community resources may be relevant. The result is a plan you can act on, with or without further help from us.
How professional housing navigation helps

Understand the full situation before spending time and application fees applying everywhere.
One organized process
Budget, documentation, programs, applications, housing-provider requirements and deadlines are brought together in one place.
Realistic planning
Housing priorities are matched to income and a sustainable monthly budget, so effort goes toward options that fit.
Prepared applications
Documents are identified and organized ahead of time, so applications can be submitted complete.
Relevant resources
We help identify public and community programs that may apply to your situation. Each program decides its own eligibility and funding.
Follow-through
You know what needs to happen next, who is responsible for it and what should be prioritized first.
